Bahamas Contraceptive Prevalence Survey 1988
General Info
This survey was a probability sample of all Bahamian women aged 15-44. A multistage cluster sample was drawn whereby enumeration districts were selected with probability of selection proportionate to their size. Only one eligible woman was interviewed per household, and a total of 797 women were interviewed. The survey covered contraceptive awareness, contraceptive use and family-planning programs.
The International Planned Parenthood Federation, Western Hemisphere Region published a report on the survey titled Contraceptive Prevalence in Bahamas, the ninth number in a series titled IPPF/WHR Caribbean Contraceptive Prevalence Surveys. Some libraries may be able to procure this report through the interlibrary loan system.
