Summary
This survey, also known as ENGIH, is conducted in Uruguay approximately every ten years to determine the social and economic situation of the population. Information was captured through multiple means including a main questionnaire, weekly diaries for households and for individuals, an expenditure questionnaire for items and services which require a longer measurement of time such as high price items and utilities, and a rural questionnaire.
