Summary
With a nationally representative sample of 22,178 households this was the largest HBS conducted to date in Tanzania. The HBS collected data on household members' education, economic activities and health status, household expenditure, consumption and income, assets, housing structure and materials, access to services and facilities, and food security. This information was collected through a household questionnaire and a diary kept for one month.
