Summary
The Nutrition and Child Survival Survey conducted in 2011 examined the nutritional status and survival of children in Niger. The Standardized Monitoring and Assessment of Relief and Transitions (SMART) methodology was used to collect data. Data collected included anthropometric measurements, household characteristics, and presence of bilateral edema. A total of 9,457 children ages 6-23 months and 24-59 months from 8,834 households were sampled.
