Summary 

The National Nutrition Survey conducted in 2015 examined the nutrition status and situations in Chad. The Standardized Monitoring and Assessment of Relief and Transitions (SMART) methodology was used to collect data. This is the ninth SMART conducted in Chad and the first with national coverage.

Data collected included vitamin A supplementation, deworming practices, immunization status and coverage, mortality, anthropometric measurements, and infant and child feeding practices. The sample included 12,818 children under-5 and 12,859 women ages 15-49 from 13,832 households.
