Tanzania Feed the Future Interim Supplemental Survey 2016
General Info
The Feed the Future Interim Supplemental Survey (FTFISS) 2016 was conducted as a supplemental, follow up survey to the Tanzania National Panel Survey (NPS) by Feed the Future, a United States government global food security initiative. The FTFISS is also part of the Living Standards Measurement Study – Integrated Surveys on Agriculture (LSMS-ISA) project. For the FTFISS 2016, a sub-sample of 797 households from the 2014-2016 Tanzania NPS located in the Feed the Future initiative Zone of Influence (ZOI) areas were selected for re-interview. The Feed the Future ZOI areas include Dodoma, Iringa, Manyara, Mbeya, Morogoro and the 3 regions of Zanzibar located on the island of Unguja. Households with no female members were considered ineligible and not interviewed to completion. In total, 727 of the Tanzania 2014-2016 NPS households were re-interviewed.
