Summary
The 2016-2017 Russia - Ural Eye and Medical Study examined the prevalence of ocular disorders and associated risk factors in rural and urban regions of Ufa, Bashkortostan. Data were collected through interviews, ophthalmologic exams, and clinical exams including electrocardiography, hearing tests, blood sampling, spirometry, and hand grip dynamometry. The study successfully canvassed 4,254 individuals.
