Each year the International Road Federation (IRF) releases road and traffic related data on such topics as road networks, road traffic, road accidents, vehicle registrations, road expenditures, and CO2 emissions from over 180 industrialized countries. The IRF obtains data from a range of country-specific sources, including national statistics offices, ministries, and road authorities.

Data are available by request. For recent years, the data are released in a variety of formats including books, CD-ROM, and Excel files. In addition, historical data are also available in Excel format.
