Summary 

The 1999 Belize Family Health Survey is a follow up to the 1991 survey. It covers: fertility, knowledge and use of contraceptives, family planning, breastfeeding, use of maternal and child health services, immunizations, child morbidity and mortality, and knowledge of HIV/AIDS.

Data from this survey are available for download from the Central American Population Center (El Centro Centroamericano de Población) at the University of Costa Rica.
