Summary 

In the third round of Pakistan Second Generation Surveillance (SGS), an Integrated Behavioral and Biological Surveillance (IBBS) survey was conducted in nine cities across three provinces, studying two at-risk populations: people who inject drugs (PWIDs or IDUs) and male/hijra sex workers (MSWs/HSWs). Samples were drawn from a mapping exercise conducted in 2006-2007 for the second round of SGS and a new mapping exercise in Dera Ghazi Khan (newly added for this round).
