Summary
The mission of the National Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Lung Disease Program (NTLD-P) is to provide care and preventive interventions for all people in Kenya with tuberculosis (TB), leprosy, or lung disease. Its annual report delivers statistics and contextual analysis on new and continuing cases of the three diseases, cases in children, drug-resistant tuberculosis cases, cases of TB and HIV coinfection, and treatment outcomes. In 2015, a related survey was also conducted, Kenya Tuberculosis Prevalence Survey 2015-2016.
