Summary
The Single Information System for Epidemiological Surveillance (SUIVE) bulletin for the final week of 2012 reports on the accumulated number of cases of notifiable diseases and diseases preventable with vaccination for the year. Also covered are the number of cases of infectious, parasitic, sexually transmitted, zoonotic, communicable, and noncommunicable diseases per each state. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus and hypertension, based on data from the Mexico National Health Survey (ENSA) and the Survey National Chronic Disease (ENEC) are reported as well.
