The Peru Continuous Demographic and Health Survey (Continuous DHS) 2003-2008, also referred to as the "Encuesta demografica y de salud familiar (ENDES Continua)," is part of DHS5, a nationally representative household survey series. Topics commonly covered in DHS include child and maternal health, family planning, nutrition, health behavior and knowledge, health care access and use, and immunization. DHS also provides data for tracking progress toward Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The Peru Continuous Demographic and Health Survey 2003-2008 was conducted in 5 cycles. Data collection took place from December 2003 - October 2008. Originally released in as two datasets (which are referred to on the DHS site as the Peru Continuous DHS 2004-2006 and Peru Continuous DHS 2007-2008), DHS now provides one combined dataset that includes cycles 1 through 5 of the survey data.
