Nigeria National Nutrition and Health Survey 2015

The 2015 National Nutrition and Health Survey (NNHS) was the second of its kind conducted in Nigeria. It implemented the Standardized Monitoring and Assessment of Relief and Transition (SMART) methodology, and covered all 36 states in the country. The survey assessed the nutritional and health status of women ages 15-49 years and children under 5 years, vitamin A supplementation, and deworming coverage. For 2015, additional topics such as malaria intermittent preventive treatment in pregnancy, antenatal care coverage, and HIV testing during antenatal care were also examined.
Data were collected from 20,060 children under 5 and 23,688 women from 25,210 households.
