This report provides an overview on the registration of births and deaths in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Section one of the report describes the administrative set-up of the Civil Registration System (CRS) and the process for the registration of births, still births, and deaths. Section two provides summarized results, analysis, and distribution of main vital indicators recorded under the civil registration system in Delhi during 2010. Sections three and four cover births and deaths registration from 2001-2010 for male-female composition. Section five contains statistical tables for vital events (live birth, death, infant death, maternal death) and total number and specific causes of death.
