Summary
The purpose of this survey, also known as the Viet Nam Household Living Standards Survey or VHLSS, was to monitor, supervise and evaluate the implementation of the Comprehensive Strategy for Growth and Poverty Alleviation. A household questionnaire and a commune questionnaire were used to survey the population on topics such as education, health and health care, disability, childbirth, smoking, employment, income, expenditures, housing conditions, and poverty.
