Summary
The purpose of this survey was to collect data on reproductive health indicators in order to inform policies and programs. This survey focused on the topics of contraceptive prevalence, and maternal, peri-natal, infant, and neonatal mortality.
The data were collected through in-person interviews in the home. The interview instruments included separate questionnaires for the household, males, and females between the ages of 15 and 49 years. The main themes of the questionnaires were reproductive history, contraceptive use, marital status, and maternal mortality.
The sample size for this survey was 3,989 households. Individuals interviewed within these households included 5,038 males and 5,786 females.
