Summary
This report was generated in response to a 1999 UNGASS resolution to follow up on the agreement of the World Summit for Children. Member states of the summit would generate reports based on child welfare and development for a decade (1990-2000) to be shared with the UN. The report includes an end of decade summation of results and recommendations based on a statistical annex. The data collected for the report is aggregated from multiple surveys including the SUSENAS (National Social and Economic Survey, MICS (Multiple Indicators Cluster Survey), SDKI (Indonesia Demography and Health Survey) and the SKRT (Household Health Survey).
