This report presents statistics on general health indicators for the entire country as well as for each of the country's 21 aimags (administrative level 1 divisions), based on official data and reports of the health sector. The report covers population and demographics of the country, maternal and child health, medical and health service coverage, the leading causes of morbidity for communicable and noncommunicable diseases, the country's progress on Millenium Development Goals (MDGs), and government health financing and expenditures.
