Summary
The purpose of this survey was to investigate the levels of nutrition and malnutrition present in children aged 6-59 months. The survey also sought to estimate crude and under-five death rates. To collect this information, this survey adopted the UNICEF Standardized Monitoring and Assessment for Relief and Transition (SMART) methodology.
The data were collected through in-person household interviews and anthropometric measurements taken from children. This survey took place in the mountainous and lowland zones in Lahj.
