Yemen Comprehensive Food Security Survey 2011
General Info
The purpose of this survey was to investigate food security in Yemen in order to obtain current national and subnational data, inform the country's development plan, and to provide a baseline to check outcomes.
The survey was carried out in urban and rural areas in 19 of the country's 21 governates, as well as six ecological zones. The governates of Sa'ada and Al Jawf were not included in this round due to security concerns.

The main themes covered in the interviews were sociodemographic characteristics, food consumption, household expenditures, living conditions, access to services, and shocks.
