Summary
This household survey – conducted in 1996, 1998-1999, and yearly since 2001 – is based on Living Standards Measurement Study (LSMS) surveys and is intended to assess the level of consumption-based poverty in Armenia. It is conducted over the course of a year with a monthly rotation of the households and communities surveyed. Instruments include a household questionnaire and a diary for household expenditures, consumption, and income.
Questionnaire sections include migration, housing conditions, employment, education, agriculture, health, debts, social assistance, and energy consumption.
