Summary
The purpose of this survey was to assess the prevalence of diabetes and prediabetes within the population of India.
The data were collected through interviews, anthropometric measurements, and blood samples. The interviews collected sociodemographic data from the subjects. The anthropometric measurements taken were height, weight, waist, and blood pressure. The blood samples were checked for fasting blood glucose and fasting capillary glucose.
