Summary 

The purpose of this study was to risk factors for non-communicable diseases in rural and urban areas within the Vellore district. The data were collected through interviews and biometric measurements of blood pressure, fasting blood glucose, and blood lipids. This study employed the WHO STEPS methods and questionnaire in the data collection process.

Data were collected from 6,196 adults between the ages of 30 and 64 years.
