This table from Statistics Austria presents data on preterm live births in Austria from 1984 onward. Statistics Austria collects data on births to mothers residing in Austria, including home births. In contrast, Austria's Medical Birth Registry (SMBR Austria, or Geburtenregister Österreich), records information on all inpatient births in Austria. Note that this table contains corrected data for 1995-2010, with adjustments made for previous overestimation due to inconsistent recording of gestational age.
