Summary
Crime in the United States (CIUS) is a publication of the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program, published annually by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. It presents data both nationally, regionally, and by state on the nature of offenses, arrests, number of police employees, and contributing agencies. Results are also presented by suburban and nonsuburban areas, metropolitan and nonmetropolitan counties, and by state universities and colleges.
