Summary
The first District Level Household Survey covered a representative sample of about 1000 households in each district. Primarily a reproductive health survey, the survey included both men and women, asking both sexes about family planning and sexually-transmitted diseases. Other topics included antenatal care, immunization, child health care, reproductive tract infections, and use of health services before, during and after delivery.
