Malawi Integrated Household Survey 2013
General Info
The Malawi Integrated Household Survey 2013 (IHS-3) is a nationally representative survey designed to be representative at both urban and rural levels for each region (Nothern, Central, and Southern) of the country. All households that were interviewed in 2010-2011 were tracked for the 2013 survey, and individuals who left those original households were tracked along with their new households; the 3,104 households from 2010-2011 tracked to 4,000 households that were part of the sample for 2013. The 2013 survey consisted of household, agricultural, fisheries, and community questionnaires, which were split between two visits over the survey period (post-planting and post-harvest). Geovariables were also tracked for each household.
