Summary
The 2014 Census of Population and Housing in Côte d'Ivoire was conducted by the National Institute of Statistics, and was the fourth census carried out in the country. The last census was in 1998, due to both conflict and political crisis from 2002-2011. The census was carried out via in-person enumeration, and the household questionnaire covered various demographic and socioeconomic characteristics of all residents. The total population of Côte d'Ivoire was enumerated at 22,671,331.
