The United Nations Multi-country Study on Men and Violence in Asia and the Pacific collected information on men's perpetration and experiences of violence from over 10,000 men in Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and Sri Lanka. In addition to current behaviors, attitudes, and relationships, participants were asked about their childhood experiences of household decision making, attitudes, and violence.
