Summary
The 2009 Jordan Interim Demographic and Health Survey was part of phase 6 of the DHS series, a comprehensive, nationally representative household survey. The survey was administered to 13,577 households and 10,109 ever-married women ages 15-49 living in the households. Those living in remote areas and institutions were excluded from the sample frame.
Participating women and their children age 5 and younger underwent anthropomorphic measuring and blood tests to detect anemia.
