Summary
The Samoa 2000 Demographic Survey was performed as a follow-up to the 1999 Demographic and Health Survey and visited the same sample areas. The purpose of this survey was to gather information in order to plan and determine population related policies. The data were collected through in person interviews in the home.
The questionnaire asked about household demographic characteristics, migration, household births, and household deaths. The sample size for this survey was 32,660 individuals.
