Summary 

The 2003 Timor-Leste Demographic and Health Survey was implemented by the Ministry of Health and the National Statistics Office, Ministry of Planning and Finance Timur-Leste. The province of East Timur was included in the survey. Demographic, nutrition, family planning, reproductive health, health behavior and knowledge information was collected from a sample of ever-married women age 15-49 and ever-married men ages 15-54 from 4,320 households.
