The Singapore Renal Registry collects data for patients who have Chronic Kidney Diseases Stage 5 (CKD5). CKD5 cases are registered when patients have started renal replacement therapy, or when patients are approaching end-stage renal failure (ESRD). A patient is classified as approaching ESRD if his or her estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) is less than 15ml/min. Data on new and existing patients is collected from health institutions and transplant centers.

This report provides tabulations on incidence and prevalence for dialysis and transplant patients.
