Summary 

The Health Behavior in School-Aged Children (HBSC) 2009-2011 surveys collected health and social information from 11-, 13-, and 15-year old students in 43 countries and regions across Europe and North America. The self-completed questionnaire collected information on students' health status, health behaviors, physical activity, sexual behavior, and substance use. The use of a standardized questionnaire allows for data analysis at the national level as well as comparison of data across countries.

The total sample size for the survey was 213,595 students. The sample size for the Czech Republic was 4,425 students.
