The United States Census Bureau's Population Estimates Program (PEP) calculates population change since the most recent decennial census using birth, death, and migration data, allowing them to produce time series estimates of population, demographic components of change, and housing units. This record represents intercensal county population estimates by age, sex, and race for each year from 1980 to 1989.
