Summary 

The National Survey of Psychoactive Substance Use in School Youth Aged 12-17 Years 2004 collected information on illicit drug use from a sample of about 100,000 students ages 12-17. In addition to use of specific drugs, participants were asked about their knowledge of various kinds of drugs, potential troubles in school, activities outside of school, and interactions with family members.

This survey follows earlier national and subnational drug use surveys in Colombia starting in 1992.
