This report contains statistics on use and availability of resources in public hospitals in Myanmar. Data are compiled and reported by the Department of Health Planning in Myanmar's Ministry of Health. In 2010, 898 hospitals reported 1,339,642 patients admitted, and 3,627,113 outpatient attendances; in 2011, 924 hospitals reported 1,324,979 patients admitted, and 3,659,822 outpatient attendances. Although the most detailed data are given for 2010-2011, for some indicators the report contains data going as far back as 2002.
