Summary 

The 2010 Kenya Child Labor Baseline Survey was conducted to assess the extent of child labor in three target districts: Busia, Kilifi, and Kitui.

The survey covered a total of 3,932 households using a two-stage cluster probability sampling design. The basic unit of analysis was the household for individuals ages 5-17.

The questionnaires included questions on sociodemographic characteristics, employment, working conditions, sources of income, and social assistance.
