Bangladesh Urban NGO Service Delivery Program Evaluation Survey 2005
General Info
This was the fourth implementation of this survey. Previous surveys were carried out in 1998, 2001, and 2003. The purpose of this survey was to assess the impact of the NGO Service Delivery Program (NSDP), an initiative that focused on particular areas and services related to antenatal care, vaccines, health of mothers and children, contraceptives, and health literacy. The 2005 data collection also focused on discovering changes that occurred since 2003.
The data were collected through interviews in NSDP areas and those without NSDP. The questionnaires included household, women ages 10-49 years, and several for health facilities. In urban areas, 9,790 households and 10,266 women were interviewed.
