Summary 

The Saint Lucia Multiple Cluster Indicator Survey (MICS) 2012 is part of MICS4, an international survey initiative to monitor the situation of children and women. Topics commonly covered in MICS include immunization, education, child and maternal health, family planning and HIV/AIDS. MICS also provides data for tracking progress toward Millennium Development Goals (MDGS), particularly those related to health, education and mortality. In the Saint Lucia MICS 2012 1,253 women ages 15-49 from 1,718 households were successfully interviewed. 291 questionnaires for children under five years of age were completed. Men were not included in the sample.
