Summary
This survey was carried out by the National Institute for Statistics. In 2008, living conditions were measured through data collection on subjects of health and health care access, fertility, employment, income, expenditures, education, basic services, and housing. This survey expanded its health questionnaire to collect data on acute respiratory infections, and acute diarrheal diseases. Questions about the educational level and occupation of absent parents, impact of public policies, and recipiency of remittances were also incorporated to questionnaires for this year.
