Summary 

The Filabavi Health and Demographic Surveillance System was established in 1999 and it covers an area of 410 square kilometers. The site monitors individuals and households residing in the Ba Vi district of the Hatay province. The system records births, deaths, pregnancies, and migrations of household members. Filabavi HDSS is a member of the INDEPTH network and it utilizes verbal autopsy instruments.
