Summary
The 2000 Population and Housing Census of Guam was conducted in conjunction with the United States Decennial Census, as a joint effort by the Census Bureau with the government of Guam. Long-form questionnaires similar to the ones used in the stateside census were also used in the island area enumeration process, featuring 27 questions on housing characteristics, and 37 on population characteristics. The 2000 total population of Guam was recorded at 154,805.
