Summary 

The purpose of this round of the International Social Survey Programme was to conduct cross-national collaborative social science research on the leisure time and sports activities of adults in countries throughout the world. The data for Germany were gathered through both self-completed questionnaires and in-person interviews. This survey sample size included 1,717 adults aged 18 years and older.

The main themes of the questionnaire included activities during free time, opinions on laws, politics, and government, social connection, and household characteristics.
