Summary 

The Bolivia Nutrition Survey 1981 collected data about the nutritional status of children ages 6-59 months. Among its objectives the survey intended to determine the prevalence of malnutrition, and vitamin A deficiency among the target population, identify priority areas for further study, and collect information that would allow the development of nutrition and food policies and programs at the national and regional levels. A total of 5,580 children, selected from a proportionate sample, participated in the survey. Anthropometric measurements were taken from the participants .
