Summary 

The purpose of the Australia National Oral Health Survey was to provide information on the oral health of the country's citizens based on recommendations by the Australian Dental Association and other health organizations. All territories in the country participated with the exception of Northern Territory due to an absence of available resources. A total of 16,897 individuals ages 5 and over participated, with 14,432 of those interviewed also receiving a dental exam.

This survey report was created by the Australian Department of Health, Housing, Local Government, and Community Services, and obtained for our collection via interlibrary loan. A copy of the report may be available from your local library.
