Summary 

The purpose of this survey was to gather data in order develop statistics and assess the scope women's experiences of male violence.

The data were collected through self-completed questionnaires sent out and returned through the mail. The questions asked about experiences before the age of 15 and after the age of 15 years old. The questions also focused on different types of relationships between men and women. The sample size for this survey was 6,926 women between the ages of 18 and 64 years old.
