Bolivia National Census of Population and Housing 1976 - IPUMS
General Info
Censuses provide population numbers, household or family size and composition, and information on sex and age distribution. They often include other demographic, economic and health-related topics as well. The 1976 Bolivia de facto census was the first census in the country since 1950. Data was collected through face-to-face interviews on housing, household demographics, employment for individuals 7 and older, education, migration, and fertility for women 12 and older. The census day was July 10, 1976. A 10% sample of dwellings from the census (461,699 individuals) is available through IPUMS International at the University of Minnesota. Refer to the IPUMS website for guidelines on citing database versions.
