Summary

The sample for this follow up survey was chosen from injured people who visited select emergency departments in the Netherlands from Oct. 8, 2001 to Dec. 3, 2002. The patients completed postal questionnaires 2.5, 5, 9, and 24 months after they were selected to determine the functional outcomes of hospitalized and nonhospitalized injury patients at these intervals after an injury.
